Responsible for ensuring that tax and PEZA compliance matters are timely and accurately addressed for assigned company entities.
Essential duties to include but are not limited to:
Prepares all local statutory tax returns in accordance with PH Tax laws.
Prepares tax provisions and assists in the preparation of related tax disclosures for statutory or GAAP financial statements.
Prepares and handles BIR tax audits and year-end audits.
Prepares all PEZA Compliance in accordinace with Peza laws.
Prepares and handles LGU business permit renewals and other annual renewals.
Assists in the research and analysis of tax developments and their application to specific business situations.
Assists or lead in other tax department activities including projects research and tax examinations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requires BS/BA in accounting; minimum of 5 years of corporate taxation experience either within industry or public accounting; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
CPA license is an advantage, but not required
Experience with insurance industry is an advantage
Background on PEZA Compliance
Comfortable doing field work (going to government offices)
Experience in using the following tools: Oracle, MS Office, Sharepoint, BIR Systems
Willing to work and be assigned in BGC Taguig when onsite work setup returns. Role is on temporary work from home setup.
