As a core member of our Technology Services IT team, you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends. The Middleware Administrator is responsible for deploying, configuring and supporting middleware applications and systems.The ideal candidate will have four or more years of experience with middleware administration in a financial services organization supporting banking and/or trading applications.
Your Role:
You will deploy, administer, support and maintain middleware applications to enable communication between financial applications on diverse platforms with varying interfaces.
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and configuration of IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS), IBM MQ, IBM Integration Bus (IIB), IBM HTTP Server (IHS), IBM Enterprise Content Manager (ECM), Apache, Tomcat, Red Hat JBoss EAP, Spring Boot, TIBCO Business Works and TIBCO BPM.
You will assess and identify appropriate changes and make recommendations for implementation.
You will perform MQ/IIB/WAS/ECM/IHS/Apache/JBoss/TIBCO system administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, problem resolution, system security and change implementation.
You will work individually or in a team on various system projects related to Linux and Application support.
You will plan, prepare and apply maintenance fixes and perform technology upgrades.
You will renew SSL certificates.
You will support disaster recovery activities.
You will assist application support team with high level problem program debugging through dump analysis.
You will provide system support including off shift on call support as and when required.
You will document processes and participate in cross training if required.
About You:
You have 4+ years experience in IBM MQ, WebSphere Application Server, Enterprise Content Manager, Tomcat & JBoss.
You have 4+ years' experience of the full software development lifecycle.
You have excellent problem solving, communication and documentation skills.
You have scripting & CLI experience for installing/administering Middleware products.
You have automation experience using yaml/json with Ansible and other automation tools.
You have strong UNIX/Linux operating system administration experience.
You have SWIFT experience/knowledge a plus.
You have experience working with various J2EE container technologies & webservers.
You have experience with installation, configuration and administration of IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM Integration Bus , IBM MQ & JBoss EAP mandatory.
You have knowledge of security configuration related to the middleware products already listed a plus.
You have team building skills, positive attitude, detail oriented, self-motivated and strong project management skills.
You have ability to manage multiple priorities that continually change.
