This position presents an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated technical contributor to lead substrate supplier yield management and improvement through Development, Ramp, and High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) phases.
This role requires on-site presence at the suppliers' factory to lead substrate yield improvement, develop yield roadmap, drive yield issues resolution, lead supplier production floor line audits and drive robust yield/defect Process Control System (PCS) in collaboration with Substrates TD organization and IE to ensure suppliers deliver to the target yields and capacity within the expected timelines and are able to sustain stable yield performance throughout HVM to EOL.
This successful candidate will be also expected to:
drive foreign material/micro-contamination control activities
Datamation, proliferate yield improvement methodologies, implement predictive yield and data analytics models
drive supplier FA/LYA methodology and competency improvements and yield improvement competency readiness in order to establish a robust yield management capabilities at the suppliers facility
The selected candidate is expected to spend
80% of time on-site at supplier site in Batangas, Philippines.
Qualifications
BS, MS, or PhD in science or engineering fields with minimum 8 years of experience in semiconductor (Fab, Substrate, Assembly) development or manufacturing environment is required.
Highly experienced in managing Fab or Substrate factory operations for manufacturing or process integration, yield improvement, supplier management, strong data analysis, run rate, capacity analysis, problem solving, and preventive maintenance of the manufacturing lines.
In-depth knowledge required on substrate manufacturing processes, FA/LYA skill, process control system (PCS), and statistical analysis skill, big data analysis and data automation.
Knowledgeable in Cleanroom operations and Foreign Material control are preferred.
Fluent communication in English, excellent presentation skill, good internal and external stakeholder management, ability to work in cross functional teams are required.
