ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for promoting culture of safety
Prepare journal entries as required by monthly close process by specified due dates
Reconcile accounts as assigned by specified due dates
Preform analytics on accounts as required for monthly variance explanations
Responding to and analyzing information requests from other departments.
Prepare schedules as required by the interim and annual audit
Assist with filing and supporting sales tax filings in various states throughout the US
Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Perform all work in accordance to ISO policy and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
Impeccable fluency in English, both written and oral
Strong technical skills in Accounting; GAAP knowledge required
Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Excel), accounting software and databases
Excellent Time Management, Organization and Communication Skills
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
Understanding in intercompany transactions, non-standard journal entries and preparing GAAP financial statements
Accuracy and attention to detail
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
3+ years' experience working in Audit with an international Chartered Accountant firm required
Experience working with a U.S. based Company a plus

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Chartered Accountant required
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Employee is regularly required to speak and hear English, stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. Employee is required to use computer and other equipment.
Employee will be working on the night shift to match US hours.
