We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with experience in delivering & maintaining complex and high-volume enterprise applications.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a part of a team of Java developers delivering in an Agile environment. You will be expected to work directly with key stakeholders to understand the business requirements and design/deliver complex solutions. You will also be responsible for utilizing best practices to ensure high quality software solutions. The ideal candidate for this job should have experience in Java development with a heavy focus on the Spring framework. You should be comfortable building REST services to support Customer-Facing UI as well as integrating with back-end SOAP/REST-based web services.

Responsibilities:
Product Enhancement: develop, debug and test software to meet requirements/specifications in accordance with the development schedule; build and run unit tests
Continuous Improvement: promote and advocate best practices within the development team and throughout the business
Production Support: investigate, analyze and correct identified defects; support and maintain existing software functionality
Customer Success: investigate existing software functionality to answer support queries
Requirements:
Unless stated otherwise, a minimum of exposure & working knowledge on the following technologies are required for the following tech stack:
Back-end: 7-8 years of solid Java experience; Spring, Shiro & Jersey
Good Working Knowledge of Java Concurrency libraries
Good understanding of performance aspects related to core Java and Swing with hands-on experience on some Java Performance profiling tools like YourKit, JProfiler etc.
Good understanding of Java application deployment tools like Java WebStart
Well versed with writing unit test cases using JUnit and JMock and developing using Eclipse IDE
Database: MSSQL
Front-end: JavaScript & Node JS; AngularJS, BackboneJS, MarionetteJS and CoffeeScript
Mobile: Cordova & iOS mobile application development; exposure and/or working knowledge in React.JS and/or React Native preferable
Tools: Eclipse, Maven, Ant
Proficient understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming and design patterns
Prior relevant work experience in developing complex enterprise B2B applications will be an added advantage
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) majors from a reputed university with good academic record
