Purpose of the role
Support the HR Interface/Reporting Team especially for the Finance Forward Project needs; And help deliver the 2022 HR capex projects related to interfaces and reporting, which includes Data Integrity, Time & Labour Management System for Spain, Canada, Philippines and India, and Global Payroll Interface initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Build custom solutions using Oracle HCM tools like BI Reports, HCM Extracts, OTBI, Web Services, APIs, HDL, HSDL, Fast Formulas, configurations, HCM personalization's etc.
Build and customize data models and automated interfaces between HR and corporate downstream systems.
Build and support HR interfaces for the Finance Forward project
Work on a highly dynamic production and non-production HR Systems: HCM Core, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labour, Absence, Recruiting, Learning Management and Collaboration systems.
Create dashboards and infolets that provide an increased overall end user experience for reporting
Design, code, test, debug, and document all phases of applications development.
Assist troubleshooting complex technical and programming issues.
Determine project feasibility and integration plans with current systems.
Participate in code reviews written by others Software Engineers.
Help in developing and improving operational efficiency of the team.
Provide Tier 2 Production Support for tools and applications developed, online and batch systems.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Analysis/ Technology/ IT/ Computer science
Relevant experience in data extraction tools, data reporting and analytics functions with expertise in relational databases, SQL, and Excel.
Working experience in Global Software Integration, Integration Cloud Services, Java, Unix Scripting, Groovy Scripts, Fast Formula, REST and SOAP APIs, Oauth 2.0, XML, JSON, HTML and API security
Proven track record in service excellence providing high quality reports and dashboards to satisfy multiple, concurrent requests
Working knowledge in UCM Extract and Oracle Integration Cloud Services
5+ years relevant experience required
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
Strong experience of Report and HCM Extracts development in Oracle HCM based on HCM Core, Talent, Compensation & Benefits and Time & Absence modules
Experience in PL/SQL, BIP Reports, OTBI, OBIEE using RTF, eText and XSL templates
Strong database skills and proficiency in writing complex SQL queries
Experience with HCM Cloud Fast Formulas and Descriptive Flex fields
Experience with data conversion tools such as HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Spreadsheet Loader (HSDL) and PBL
Ability to develop and maintain HCM Extract interfaces between Oracle Fusion and third-party systems
Experience of Fusion / Oracle HCM project implementations
Understanding and experience of advanced reporting functionality such as bursting and scheduled reports
Experience creating role and specific dashboards and Infolets in Oracle HCM
Detailed understanding of the Fusion/HCM Cloud Security Model and its application for reporting purposes
Ability to discuss, lead and present technical solutions to development teams and Product and Technology management.
Able to work with teams/individuals of all levels of technical expertise, business knowledge and global locations.
Works independently, self-motivated, and independent learner
Ability to handle multiple projects
Strong analytical, problem solving and error isolation skills.
Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, Agile Methodology preferred.
