ZigZag is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team!
Our client is looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team of internationally talented engineers. Depending on experience, you will be responsible for many phases of the software development lifecycle including technical research, requirements analysis, implementation or enhancements to the product, unit testing, debugging, and maintenance.
As a key member of the team, you will be expected to work on new projects as well as improving various aspects of our legacy code. Thinking in terms of scalability and reliability will be essential, and you will be working within a service-oriented architecture and use all of the client's APIs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Translating functional requirements into conceptual and detailed design.
Implementing proof of concept, prototypes, and production-grade software.
Write maintainable and tested code following best practices.
Working closely with Operations and Support staff to refine requirements troubleshoot software issues and implement bug fixes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 5+ years of professional experience in one of the following languages: PHP, Python, Go, or Javascript (TypeScript preferred).
Experience with web application development and intermediate/advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Experience with information retrieval and intermediate/advanced knowledge of SQL and/or noSQL database technologies.
Experience with distributed or parallel systems and micro services.
Working on projects that have been deployed to the public that had high scalability and availability requirements a plus.
Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.
*Our expected salary range for this role is ranging from Php70,000-Php120,000. All great candidates will be considered regardless of the compensation requirements.
*Our office is located in Ortigas, Pasig City. However, due to the pandemic, our team is currently on a temporary work from home setup. Working onsite again has no definite schedule yet.
