Role/Department Description:
FactSet is looking for a full-stack Software Engineer to be part of a team that develops and maintains a generic tool used to acquire financial content. The technology is used across the Content organization to ingest new data feeds. While it currently supports some FTP and HTTP use cases, you would be working on enhancing its functionality to allow for more types of feeds to be ingested with minimal setup time by the feed owners. In addition, you will work on user interface improvements to ensure that the tool is easy to use by our stakeholders. The team is also responsible for ensuring our processes are running well and potentially addressing any performance-affecting issues in real-time.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related field
Strong knowledge of Python
Preferred to have familiarity with:
Python: Flask, FastAPI, Pandas, pytest
Postgresql
VueJS, Jest, Arrow
AWS technologies: S3, IAC
