Job Title: Sales Operations Specialist - ANZ
Department and Team: APAC Sales Operations & Sales ANZ
Location: Manila
Job Reports to: Vice President, Sales Operations, Asia Pacific
Job Summary:
The Sales Operations Specialist (Japan & Korea) is a member of the APAC Sales Operations team, reporting to the VP, Sales Operations APAC and will act as an in-field operations business partner to the Regional Leader, Sales Managers and Account Executives. This role functions as the key operational point of contact in region.
Key Responsibilities, (including but not limited to):
Business Analytics:
Work with the regional sales team to improve and maintain Salesforce (SF) hygiene.
Lead the weekly regional forecast call and work with the relevant AEs to ensure SF is updated and any actions are noted and followed through in a timely manner.
Work with regional leader to track sales pipeline via APAC dashboards and reports; make recommendations to improve sales pipeline performance and measurement.
Prepare reports, charts and illustrations of key performance for management using APAC data sets and or dashboards that are centrally produced.
Maintain LRC meeting action list, follow-up actions prior to each meeting.
Support the development of regional budgets and financial plans.
Work with LRC on presentations and other ad hoc analysis including QBR preparation, etc.
Quantitative and qualitative analysis:
Work with APAC Sales Operations team to:
Enhance existing dashboard metrics to drive performance including but not limited to Sales pipeline, forecast accuracy, maintenance retention, licence renewal, sales performance, staff turnover etc.
Submit regional KPI's and reports requests that provide business insight from both historical and forecast analysis to enhance overall operational performance.
Use industry trends and other market data to assist in benchmarking performance.
Review effectiveness of specific programs and opportunities and report progress against budget and forecast using APAC dashboards.
Sales Excellence:
Work with VP, Sales Operations, APAC to drive the "Regionally Consistent (Minimum) Cadence schedule" as outlined in Sales Excellence deck, including but not limited to:
Drive SF hygiene, weekly check in with AEs (use SF globally produced reports to follow up updates re close date, deal value, next steps, sales stage, forecast stage, etc)
Setting up 5x5 Reviews with AE's and Sales Management on key deals and ensuring actions followed up
Setting up close plans review calls for all deals
Sales Stage 4 * Track AE submission of quarterly success plans
Schedule Week 7 and Week 13 quarterly success plan reviews between AEs and Sales Managers
Working with AE's / Partners / Finance / Order Management to ensure effective order processing.
Training of AEs of Salesforce.com under the Genesys framework.
Working with Account Executives to ensure data validity as well as adoption of the sales tools such as Revergy.
Measures for Success:
Measured by accuracy and timeliness of support for sales, marketing, product management, finance and other users of salesforce.com.
Exhibits sound business judgement, a proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results.
Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organisation, and to create a vision and organisation that can scale quickly.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree Business, Marketing or a related field is desirable
Proven experience with the development and implementation of systems/tool utilised for Salesforce, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting etc.
Understanding of sales processes and pipeline management.
Advanced level in Excel and PowerPoint.
Minimum 3+ years professional experience in sales operations and systems administration with Salesforce.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a track record of presenting to senior management.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong team player with ability to work cross culturally within APAC and across business units.
Japanese and English language skills essential, Korean language skills highly regarded.
