Administer formal insolvency and restructuring engagements for a portfolio of corporate clients, which include
(i) liquidation and receivership
(ii) judicial management
(iii) scheme of arrangement
(iv) monitoring / special accountant
(v) debt restructuring
Responsibilities include(list not exhaustive):
Assist in the preparation of letters, notices, emails and reports
Take control of the business premises and assets, followed by realisation
Information gathering from books / records of clients and third parties
Indexing and safekeeping of books and records• Recovery of debts
Adjudication of creditors' claims
Investigation of past transactions
Assist in the financial review and preparation of restructuring proposals
Attend meetings and preparation of minutes of meetings
Clarifies issue(s) / problem(s) to be addressed and communicate clearly and timely to supervisors
Coach and guide junior team members, and review their work
Qualifications
Degree in Accountancy, Law or other professional accounting qualifications recognised by ISCA
2 to 3 years' experience in corporate or individual insolvency and/or external audit
Strong analytical and report writing skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines
A strong team player
