Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct research studies that may include collecting, analyzing, trending and presenting data and recommendations to management
Document customer/client requirements through clear, unambiguous, concise and effective written and oral communication
Develop, enhance and maintain planning models, surveys and benchmarks
Perform analysis for business process re-engineering opportunities and define, develop and document before and after process flows
What can you do with the right information? In this role, you will be tasked with analyzing data with a focus toward instituting process improvements and making recommendations to management. You'll be expected to ask more questions and develop better solutions in an effort to make the health care system greater than ever
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree and/or currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university (coursework to obtain degree must be completed prior to start of employment and degree must be awarded and verified within 6-8 weeks following the commencement date at your school)
Ability to travel up to 80% of the time as part of the Optum Consulting Team
Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
