Your core responsibilities include:
Team lead experience. Can lead a team, determine team member capacities, set deadlines and expectations
Mentor junior / mid engineers, and feel passionate about improving software by constant iteration with your team
Participate in code reviews
Good understanding of object oriented programming and design patterns
Ability to digest business requirements and translate to tech requirements
Experienced in a project management process (i.e. Scrum). Able to lead team discussions/meetings
Work directly with CEO as creative director, designers, project managers, and user experience leads on assigned projects
Able to execute on technical items and meet deployment timelines
What you'll do:
Implement rich, interactive data visualizations using modern JavaScript and software development techniques in conjunction with the other engineers on the team
Build new and maintain existing features
Produce fully functional applications, writing clean, tested code
Other responsibilities:
Experience in web service integrations (JSON API's)
Experience with source control systems (Git)
Perform application development, unit testing, and basic production level QA
Solid understanding of JavaScript
Solid understanding of CSS/SCSS
Experience in creating REST API's
Understanding of database fundamentals
Strong knowledge of object oriented analysis and design, implementation and maintenance
