About the job Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Lead
As a Senior QA Lead, you are expected to oversee the Quality Assurance Team in all aspects of software and product testing. It may include developing test strategies, drawing up test documents including test plans, test procedures, test cases, test results, and identifying defects.
You should also have extensive experience in analytics, high-level problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage projects and resources. A top-notch Senior QA Lead ensures the QA department is running smoothly and effectively.
Responsibilities:
Meet with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters.
Lead the QA team in designing QA test plan and procedures.
Write QA and testing documents.
Implement testing procedures and oversee the QA process.
Recommend and implement tools, including automation, that will improve testing efficiency and support regression testing.
Prepare QA reports, troubleshoot issues, and update test plans, test procedures, and test cases.
Conduct compliance checks on design and product specifications.
Ensure successful releases by setting high standards in quality, performance, and responsiveness of designs and applications.
Provide QA services to project teams and clients, such as defect tracking, troubleshooting, testing, deployment support, etc.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with emphasis in Software Applications development.
Over five (5) years of experience as a QA Engineer and has a solid understanding of QA and testing concepts.
Managerial experience preferred.
Ability to manage projects using Agile methodologies.
Experience working with Web Applications. Coding skill and AI exposure is a plus.
Experience in any Web Performance Testing tools
Experience or skill in any automated testing tools and techniques.
Proficient in MS Office software.
High-level analytical and decision-making skills.
Good written and verbal English communication skills.
Critical thinker.
Detail-oriented.
