Job Description
An opportunity exists for a superstar Quality Assurance Analyst to join our growing team! You will be responsible for executing test cases for multiple medium to large web and REST API services.
Working closely with the Test Lead, QA Analyst and Business Analyst, you will identify, raise and re-test issues found in web and mobile applications.
The candidate must have experience in Web and REST API testing as well as manual and automation testing.
As part of this role you will:
Analyse functional specifications for web and mobile applications and create test scenarios.
Create Test Objective Matrics to ensure sufficient test coverage.
Design, create and execute the automated/manual test cases for sprints and regression testing.
Raise identified defects in JIRA as per existing template.
Assist test lead to manage and report testing status to project stakeholders.
Liaise with Business Analyst regarding Functional Specifications & triage with developers when bugs are identified.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years as QA analyst in IT industry
5+ years experience with responsive web testing (using Browser Stack or similar live testing tool an advantage)
2+ years experience with Selenium UI automation framework.
2+ years experience with REST API testing is desired
1+ year working with Figma (or similar tool such as Invision, Photoshop or Sketch) for UI validation
Prior experience in JIRA & TestRail is desired.
Ability to work in a waterfall or agile methodology
Ability to smoke test a solution to highlight any critical issues
Good English communication skills (verbal and written) to interface with project managers and clients
Ability to manage time for efficient delivery of work
Desire to take ownership the project that you are working on to produce the best outcome for the client at every step of the way.
Our teams are currently working from home however, this role will be based in our Makati head offices once circumstances allow. In order to be considered for this opportunity you must be able to demonstrate your home working environment is as follows:
conducive home office (free from noise and distraction)
main internet: wired internet of at least 5mbps
reliable back up internet: at least 3mbps speed
