Job Description
Establish and refine best practices on Unit Testing, Functional testing, Automated testing and Performance testing of Microsoft Dynamics 365 projects.
Help growing a Microsoft Test practice in offshore location.
Provide direction and guidance for test process improvements and establishment of policies
Acting as a conduit for top-down/bottom-up communication, escalating issues of significance to National Capability Lead where appropriate which may involve working with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues
Educate test consultants about Dynamics 365 Practice and Project best practices and procedures
Resource test consultants for Dynamics 365 projects
Evaluate and improve the quality of Dynamics 365 projects.
Participate in Presales activities when needed.
Resource planning and Work with APAC Capability Lead to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ an appropriate number of employees.
Lead employees to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.
Maintain employee work schedules including assignments, job rotation, training, vacations.
Appropriately communicate organization information through practice meetings, one-on-one meetings, and appropriate mail, IM, and regular interpersonal communication.
Follow-up and ensure all test consultants complete all required eLearning courses and recommended professional certifications
Qualifications
A minimum of 6 years of application testing experience
Strong practice knowledge, with a track record of successful engagements
Sound understanding of test standards, processes and methodologies, particularly applicable to Microsoft technology projects
Managing Automation and Performance test using Microsoft certified tools and best practices
Presales support experience (provide effort estimates, high level test approach, presentation in client meetings, etc.)
Experience in testing Microsoft technology projects
Experience in using Microsoft Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (VSTS) or JIRA for Testing life cycle management
Experience in Microsoft Visual Studio / JIRA based testing tools
A sound understanding of client needs
Experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Experience working in complex environments with many stakeholders and vendors.
Experience working collaboratively with business stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts
Preferred Skills:
Experience in testing Dynamics CRM / Customer Engagement (CE)
Automated Testing experience (Selenium or other test automation framework)
Nice to Have
ISTQB certification desirable
KPIs
Ensure high quality delivery for testing phases for all projects
Effective team leader and champion
Contribution to achievement of team retention targets, certification target and blog post targets.
Completion of performance objectives for all team members within two months of a consultant joining a team
Performance and remuneration reviews completed and appropriately communicated in accordance with agreed timelines
Supports achievement of Practice objectives as appropriate (e.g. through involvement in recruitment for the practice, provision of site leadership, etc.)
