The Cross-Enterprise Procurement Group (CEPG) Sr. Procurement Analyst supports strategic sourcing operations by collecting, analyzing, and managing data to provide key insights for actionable improvements to the procurement organization. This role will primarily support the 7-Step Sourcing Process work among varying categories across the Globe. The Sr. Procurement Analyst will become a key member of several Strategic Sourcing project teams providing analytical rigor and technical expertise to produce fact-based summary information enabling Senior Procurement personnel to improve their sourcing decisions.
This position will process, extract, and query data to help make decisions. This person will run optimization scenarios and provide multi-variable solutions based upon the sourcing team's constraints.
What You'll Do for Us
Execute day-to-day delivery of sourcing operations services. Activities include:
Facilitate sourcing events (e.g. RFP, RFI) through E-Sourcing tool management (i.e. develop bid sheets and cost model, configure E-Sourcing event settings, bid scenario building and optimization)
Collaborate with category managers to ensure compliance to sourcing requirements
Validate spend analytics and spend data management
Review and approve catalog information for upload to TCCC systems
Lead key analytics activities to provide insight and drive improvement
Prepare and lead key analytics presentations through data storytelling and data visualization.
Provide analytical rigor and technical expertise to improve decision-making
Act as subject matter expert on TCCC sourcing operations policies, processes, and systems
Participate in development of analytical capabilities and digitization initiatives
Communicate key analytics insights by creating and delivering presentations to TCCC teams, executive leaders and sponsors
Collaborate with TCCC category managers to build an understanding of category strategy, supplier markets, & processes
Qualification & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or supply chain, advanced degree preferred
5+ years of data and financial/procurement analysis experience
5+ years of Procurement, Supply Chain or Operations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical skills and judgement
Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of RDBMS (via SQL) concepts
Data Visualization & Story Telling expertise
Proficiency in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes
Familiarity with mathematical optimization and linear programming
E-Sourcing expertise (e.g. SAP Ariba, Jaggaer, Keelvar or related e-Sourcing platforms)
Programming expertise (e.g. VBA, Python) is preferred
