Your Role:
The SolarWinds People Technology Team delivers exceptional experiences and achieves business results through innovative, value-adding solutions. Our mighty team of recognized technical experts is seeking a collaborative Senior People Technology Analyst to join our team to support, configure, and optimize the design and performance of People systems and applications. This Individual Contributor role is responsible for system upgrades, maintenance, system enhancement and troubleshooting; ongoing training and support for end users; maintaining system documentation; and creating/generating reports. Senior Analysts collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to analyze, define, document, review, implement and test business requirements, to ensure implementation within defined technical and user-experience parameters. This role reports to the Senior Manager of People Technology.
Responsibilities
Provides Business Analyst expertise on People System enhancements, projects, and processes, and collaborates with the broader People Team, IT Team, Business Subject Matter Experts, and external partners to deliver high-quality results. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Facilitating requirements definition and documents business requirements to ensure alignment with key stakeholders
Translating requirements into system solutions (either through direct system configuration where applicable, or through partnering with IT or third-party resources for advanced configuration)
Proactively managing and tracking project and system actions to ensure successful implementations, including the development of project plans and timelines, and escalating project or system issues or risks in timely and appropriate manner
Designing and developing viable and sustainable system solutions and processes to efficiently manage data entry, interfaces, and business processes (either independently, or in collaboration with the People Technology, IT, COE teams and with external partners, where required)
Recommending process improvements, innovative solutions, and policy changes using software functionality, and ensures the technology aligns with industry best practices and standards
Creating configuration change and testing documents that clearly document the request, current state, and changes implemented (including configuration steps taken to implement the change)
Providing Tier 2 / Tier 3 support the People Team Support Center
Leading and / or executing testing of new system functionality
Communicating effectively with internal colleagues and external partners, at all levels
Demonstrating teamwork within the department and organization, and performing assigned duties efficiently, and in timely manner
Qualifications
Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications
5+ years HR Business Analyst experience, or demonstrated Business Analyst skills required
3+ years HRIS System Administrator experience and expertise in collecting, defining, and clarifying requirements, system functionality, and business processes (strong preference for SuccessFactors experience)
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, researching and solution design skills
Experience in providing effective user support and addressing inquiries and issues in a timely manner
Ability to perform and direct analyses and root-cause identification and recommend effective solutions
Ability to read, create, analyze, and interpret HR systems technical and procedural documentation
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task
Ability to work independently, and execute against deliverables in a high volume, fast-paced environment, with high-quality results
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively, professionally, cooperatively, and efficiently within a team environment
Expertise in Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
