The Role:
As a Senior Para Planner, you will play a pivotal role in our financial planning process. Your responsibilities include:
Strategic Planning: Preparing and reviewing comprehensive financial projections.
Technical Expertise: Providing advice on insurance, superannuation, and SMSFs with in-depth understanding of the Australian financial advice landscape.
Accuracy and Detail: Ensuring all Statements of Advice (SoAs) are prepared accurately and in compliance with regulations.
Software Proficiency: Using Advisor Logic to manage and document financial planning tasks.
Leadership: Delegating tasks effectively and mentoring junior team members to enhance team performance.
Collaboration: Spending one week per quarter in a shared office environment while working from home the rest of the time.
About You:
We're looking for someone with:
At least 5 years of financial planning experience.
Specific experience in Australian financial planning within the Australian regulatory environment and compliance framework is essential.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with strong numerical skills.
Expertise in the Australian financial advice landscape, including relevant regulations and compliance standards.
Proficiency in Advisor Logic and the ability to navigate financial software efficiently.
A proven ability to review and ensure accuracy in SoAs and other deliverables.
Leadership skills and experience delegating and mentoring a team.
A commitment to the financial planning industry and a desire to build on existing skills in a senior role.
Availability to travel to a shared office in Cebu four times a year for collaborative work weeks.
