Why this role exists
We are looking for a Senior Paid Acquisition Manager who will be reporting to our Head of Marketing. You will drive traffic acquisition and lead generation through online pay-per-click and cost-per-acquisition campaigns. The role will be responsible for developing and driving the acquisition of SMB merchants, owning the paid strategy, execution, and optimization across paid channels for Magic. You will execute and optimize growth strategies that align with company goals and objectives. You are expected to manage a portfolio of Marketing Sources to hit monthly and long-term revenue and profitability targets. Furthermore, you are also expected to manage growth in key areas of performance marketing portfolio such as SEM and Paid Social Ads and launch new channels for paid acquisition - programmatic, native ads, etc.
What are your responsibilities:
Work closely with key stakeholders with you holding responsibility for ideation, creation, implementation, and ongoing optimization of the PPC strategy and campaign performance including looking at growth channels such as display and paid social
Orchestrating digital content strategies across ads & landing pages.
Management of paid acquisition planning, forecasting, and reconciliation process.
Coordinating implementation of learnings, know-how, optimization techniques, tactics, and technologies
Account daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and all other important account metrics.
Manage, maintain and build audiences for targeting and retargeting
Generate weekly and monthly reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search initiatives.
Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports, and key reporting tools, and point out any key areas of importance in accordance with company goals
Driving traffic and engagement that translates to sales and brand promotion.
Collaborate with designers, marketers, sales professionals, and external teams to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.
Convince others that your creative ideas are worth investing time and effort in. This role is at the core of the marketing team, and others will rely on your work every single day.
Requirements
At least 5 years experience in managing and running search and social ads and at least 3 years experience in managing people.
Must have project management experience, SSC YB/GB is a plus
Portfolio showing growth in paid acquisition is required; Programmatic, native ads, etc.
Extensive experience in PPC campaign management, analysis, and reporting.
Experience in planning and delivering large budgets from long to short term. Top of funnel marketing experience and practical knowledge of tracking systems and technologies, applying best practices to ensure consistent and accurate reporting.
Proven working knowledge of Google search, GDN, and video
Knowledgeable in paid social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
Tool/systems proficiency: - Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Lead Generation, Google Analytics and Google Tags, Hubspot.
Education Required: Vocational or Bachelor's Degree of any course
