Position Outline
As a Senior Marketing Technology Developer, you will be responsible for solution architecture, delivery, and support of software solutions involving Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other marketing technology. You take an active role in the continuous evolution of development practices for Marketing Cloud. You will drive critical architecture decisions and participate in ideation work around initiatives and streams to identify when it provides an advantage to involve MC.
How you will add value:
Provide technical advisory on MC and how other systems will integrate.
Help PMs to validate and verify assumptions during discovery.
Ensure predictable delivery of product features and initiatives
Embody the technology vision and strategy of the company.
Requirements:
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive MC improvements through requirements gathering/analysis/discovery, potential business opportunities are established.
Support Product in identifying how MC fits into overall communication strategy
Determine strategies to reduce technology debt
Examine, review, design and deliver well-designed technical solutions in a clean and maintainable way
Support work uncovering opportunities with product knowledge, solution capability, and best practices
Facilitate the ongoing optimization cycle of Journeys in close collaboration with Customer and Product teams
Programming and structuring AMPscript and SSJS to deliver highly dynamic and personalized content
Develop detailed configuration documentation
