Location/Division Specific Information

Our Medical Communications team works to improve patient health by supplying high-quality medical information services on behalf of our customers to patients, healthcare providers and stakeholders. We manage medical information inquiries, document adverse events and product complaints, support product launches and help customers set up successful medical communications operations in a complex, global environment.
Office Location: Seven/NEO Building, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Philippines
Work Shift Schedule: Night Shift (US business hours)
Work Setting: Hybrid; 1 to 3 days a week on-site (after training period)
Training Period: 10 to 12 weeks (5 days a week on-site)
Discover Impactful Work:
Manages key client relationships and oversees the operations of the program team providing medical/clinical information to maximize operational quality and client loyalty. Advises and directs strategic planning for program operations and provides input on team budgets/invoicing, recruiting, and forecasting. Mentors, trains and supervises junior level managers, healthcare professional program staff, and/or other program support staff on the program team to ensure contracted services are provided in accordance with client and department policies and procedures and contractual agreements.
A day in the Life:
Utilizes medical/clinical background to participate in, manage, and conduct quality review of medical/clinical work.
Serves as an independent liaison with client representatives for discussion of strategic operational issues, resource planning, and quality oversight.
Oversees development of client reports and procedural documents and supports the business development team by collaborating on program models and participating in presentations.
Maintains excellent program knowledge with an emphasis on medical/clinical content, troubleshoots program issues, and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures including SOP's, protocols, and other regulations by conducting quality monitoring of staff work.
Acts as resource to junior health-care professional managers in liaising between the client, program management and staff for operational issues such as workflow processes, available resources, and new initiatives impacting the program.
Directs all aspects of program training including conducting training, developing curriculum, and documenting and maintaining training records and curriculum.
Drives effective client operations which may include troubleshooting for database issues, phone routing or other issues as they impact internal departments, vendors, or the client.
Manages staff, which may include interviewing and selection, job description preparation, professional development, goal setting, performance management, coaching and mentoring, employee counseling, and separations. Approves courses of action on salary administration, hiring, corrective action, and terminations. Reviews and approves time records, expense reports, requests for leave, and overtime.
Keys to Success:
Education
Bachelor's Degree Graduate in any Life Science or Healthcare related Courses (i.e. Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Technology, Biology, etc.)
Experience
Significant experience (comparable to at least 8 years) in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry with responsibilities involving counseling or providing medical information to include leadership experience (comparable to at least 2 years).
Education may be substituted in lieu of some years of experience for advanced degrees such as Pharm.D, Ph.D. or MS.
In some cases a second language may be required.
Some programs may require a Pharm.D.
In most cases a license will be required.

Responsible for training and development of subordinate staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, assisting subordinates with difficult inquiries or problems, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies, and development and implementation of unit policies and procedures. Recommends employees for employment, discipline, termination; initiates and communicates a variety of personnel actions (e.g. performance and salary reviews, promotions, time off requests, timesheet and expense report approvals). In some instances may be responsible for a functional area (as determined by executive management)
