ABOUT THE ROLE
XAM Consulting is a high-growth company and we have an opportunity for a permanent, full-time Xamarin Development Consultant based in the Philippines.
Your primary objective will be to develop world class mobile applications for our customers. You will be working in house or on client sites, on exciting and interesting projects for periods between 1 to 12 months at a time. You will join a team of Australia's finest developers in the Xamarin space, including 2 Microsoft recognized Xamarin MVP's.
You will be focused on ensuring customers have great results on the their development projects and choose to continue their journey with XAM Consulting for many years.
The key task areas of focus will include:
Consulting with clients on Xamarin and mobile best practice
Developing mobile applications using Xamarin/Mobile technologies
Working with clients through the full SDLC
Working closely with internal QA
Participation and contribution to stand-ups and other sessions

Experience and Skills
4+ years of experience with Xamarin Mobile Development Platform
Excellent client facing skills
Experience with Xamarin Development in Classic and Forms
High proficiency coding in C#, .net core, XAML, Mobile UI
Experience with consuming and understanding of web services
Ability to clean and pragmatic code
Experience with MVVM frameworks and other design patterns
Experience with native development would be advantageous
Integration experience to back-end database or transactional systems
Experience with Agile, or Agile-based, development methodologies
Native Android and iOS development experience a plus
Self-starter eager to learn new technologies; enthusiastic about researching opportunities to grow and improve your skill set
Working with clients and understand the relationship value with clients
Great understanding of software development best practices including DevOps, Agile, Design Patterns, Practices, Unit Testing, Automated Testing
Excellent communicator (written and oral), willing to help out a teammate and pitch in when needed on a team
