At Therma° we are combating climate change by building the smart cold chain. Were a mission-driven team of experienced entrepreneurs, engineers, and food industry professionals creating IoT-powered technology that ensures safety and sustainability, from farm to fork.
As a Senior JavaScript Engineer, you will help Therma meet the needs of multinational corporations, governments, and international regulatory agencies. Working from our APAC headquarters, you will mentor our 15 developer team, while developing and maintaining our core application and public APIs for utilization by millions of daily users and collaborating closely with our mobile development team (iOS and Android). Furthermore, you will develop integrations between Therma and third party hardware and software vendors.
This role reports directly to our JavaScript Lead Engineer and is based out of our APAC Headquarters, you will mentor our 15 developer team, while developing and maintaining our core application and public APIs for utilization by millions of daily users and collaborating closely with our mobile development team (iOS and Android). Furthermore, you will develop integrations between Therma and third party hardware and software vendors.
This role reports directly to our JavaScript Lead Engineer and is based out of our APAC Headquarters located in Cebu City, Philippines.
About You
4+ years of experience building and maintaining full-stack applications
Expert knowledge of Node.js, Angular.js, ReactJS, and PostgreSQL
Extensive experience with New Relic or similar monitoring tools
Familiarity with AWS and container-based infrastructures (Kubernetes, Docker)
Experience building publicly-consumable APIs and platforms is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
