Job Description:
Works independently to develop and implement audits using IT control frameworks to assess IT environments.
Develops audit plans accounting for specific risks/ issues to be evaluated.
Conduct integrated and information technology audits, including but not limited to pre/post- implementation reviews, privacy, data governance, SDLC, DevOps and cybersecurity reviews based upon a comprehensive understanding of risks.
Identifies process and control gaps and required to make recommendations to address the risks identified.
Ensure that audit issues and associated root causes are understood, well defined, and presented to a wide variety of audit stakeholders.
Assist in the development of formal written reports to communicate audit results to management.
Contributes to drive efficiencies and enhancement opportunities to existing auditing processes and techniques, using data analytics, automation and other process improvement techniques and ideas.
Provide support for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and testing
What are the requirements needed for this position?
Minimum of 3 years' experience at a public accounting firm, or 5 years of relevant IT audit/IT Security experience
Strong auditing experience in the DevOps (Agile SDLC environment), Cloud Operations and Cyber Security domains
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation, CISSP, CIA or other certification (Will consider candidates who are willing to pursue and pass the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or similar designation within year of joining, if necessary).
Experience auditing against (or leveraging) IT frameworks and standards such as SOX, CoBiT, COSO, NIST, ISO, HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI-DSS, etc.
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have/advantages?
Data Analytics Experience using ACL, SQL Server, Tableau, Spotfire
RPA experience using UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate
Experience serving as liaison between the department and key business partners/business executives in the development and execution of the audit plan.
Experience in building key relationships with IT stakeholders to inform IT risk assessments and the audit plan
