Senior IT Auditor Our client is looking for an IT Auditor / Technology Risk professional to join our team. You will partner closely with Finance, Enterprise Technology, IT, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to influence & drive results for a wide array of business initiatives. You will support the IT Internal Audit Lead in planning, organizing, and executing of our annual IT SOX audit program, as well as participating in operational (risk-based) reviews based on areas of emerging technology risk. In addition, you will contribute to analysis of strategic risk assessments for systems implementation projects, and will help, as needed, with other technology initiatives beyond performing internal audits. The candidate must have knowledge of systems and process flow mapping, risk identification and management, design and documentation of controls, controls testing, evaluation of control deficiencies and remediation plans. Additionally, the ideal candidate must be effective at establishing relationships and collaborating across teams to drive clarity and impact, with proficient communication (oral and written), organizational and project management skills. What you'll achieve : . Perform IT SOX controls testing (ITGCs, ITACs, Key Reports, Interfaces), ensuring testing deliverables are well-documented, communicated, and completed timely. . Collaborate closely with external and internal partners throughout annual SOX lifecycle, supporting them to ensure on-time and smooth completion of each phase of the audit. . Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing IT controls and test procedures in order to leverage efficiencies and reduce IT risk oversee implementation of these enhancements. . Update IT controls documentation, including process flowcharts, narratives, risk and controls matrices. . Proactively identify and assess emerging IT and business risks (both SOX-impacting and non) that have an impact on the controls environment. . Evaluate scoping of IT controls for new systems implementations and/or process changes. . Oversee ad-hoc audit projects and risk-based operational audits to successful and timely completion, including management of timeline and resources. . Support stakeholders with root cause analyses, exposure impact assessments, and remediation action plans for ineffective or missing control processes. . Monitor the status and timely resolution of internal and external IT audit recommendations. . Maintain proficient knowledge base of SOX-related technical guidance and other relevant audit industry standards to ensure best practices are always considered. About you: . 5+ years' experience in IT Audit and/or IT Risk Management (technology industry preferred). . BA/BS in relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or Computer Science professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP is a plus. . Experience on integrated SOX audit engagements is required Big 4 highly preferred. . 5+ years' experience testing ITGCs, ITACs, and Key Reports in both homegrown technologies and Enterprise systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday, Coupa). . Deep understanding of SOX audit methodologies and the role IT controls play in the broader integrated SOX audit environment. . Experience performing IT risk assessments and controls development/enhancement projects. . Solid understanding of enterprise technology architecture, including risks and dependencies between each layer. . Experience with cloud tech and various 'as-a-service' models (SaaS/IaaS/PaaS) preferred. . Knowledge of non-SOX IT controls frameworks a plus (SOC2, ISO27001, ISO27701, PCI, etc). . Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently with minimal daily management. . You are a problem solver and a forward thinker. .
