Your mission as part of Xendit IT Infrastructure team is to build state of the art IT infrastructure and develop tooling and automation to make our developers happier and our system more reliable.
Outcomes
Design, plan, and implement infrastructure and networking solutions in the cloud and on-premise using modern infrastructure services such as Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless computing
Collaborate with the architects group to drive long term infrastructure improvements across Xendit to achieve north star for availability, capacity, scalability, security and maintainability
Participate and influence the design, plan, and implementation of other teams' projects and initiatives related with infrastructure system architecture
Drive the adoption of tooling and automation to make our developers more productive and happier
Collaborate with industry counterparts to proactively anticipate short and long term infrastructure needs
Collaborate with data engineering team to build scalable and secure big data infrastructure
Keep our IT infrastructure secure and comply with international security standards such as PCI-DSS and ISO 27001, and license from Bank Indonesia or OJK such as Payment Gateway Operator, Electronic Money, and Money Remitter
Acting as a mentor by defining, demonstrating and communicating best practice to other team members

You may be a good fit if
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree
7 - 10 years of relevant IT experience, with a minimum of 5-year experience focusing on cloud infrastructure
Expert knowledge/experience in building and maintaining cloud infrastructures and such as AWS, GCP, Azure or AlibabaCloud
Hands-on technical experience in building, scaling and maintaining Kubernetes infrastructure in a production environment with at least 30 nodes while ensuring high availability across separate availability zones.
Hands-on technical experience in building, scaling, and maintaining CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, CircleCI, Travis, TeamCity, or Buddy.Works used by at least 300 engineers
Hands-on technical experience on configuring and fine-tuning monitoring and logging tools such as ELK, Datadog, NewRelic, or Splunk
Hands-on technical experience configuring and fine-tuning Kubernetes service mesh such as via Linkerd or Istio, etc.
Hands-on technical experience configuring and maintaining ingress/egress via Traefik, Calico, ALB, etc.
Hands-on technical experience configuring and maintaining VPC, CIDR, ACL, Transit Gateway, etc. \
Strong track record of mentoring engineers and driving cross-team initiatives
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
Bonus point if you have experience working in high growth startup or highly regulated company that requires compliance from PCI DSS or HIPAA
