Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Understand the design brief and communicate with affiliates to ensure completeness and accuracy of requirements
· Design new and update existing communication materials for global affiliates of SGS including but not limited to brochures, web banners, presentations, infographics, illustrations, and videos
· Design communication materials in compliance with the SGS Global Identity Guidelines
· Edit videos and create animated infographics
· Enhance and edit images depending on intended use and requirements
· Upload communication materials in the marketing library
· Ensure that approved communication materials are duly prepared, packaged and readily available for deployment (print-ready, high resolution images, offset/digital printing, source files, etc.)
· Ensure that communication materials are duly stored and archived for future use
· Produce communication materials within the deadlines
· Coach graphic designers in terms of design and layout principles
· Perform quality audits on the work of other graphic designers
· Perform other tasks and responsibilities as defined by management
Qualifications
PROFILE
· Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Design/Multimedia, Advertising/Media/Communication, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent and with at least 5 years of experience in designing communication materials in a design agency or corporate setup
REQUIRED SKILLS
· Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
· At least 5 years of experience in designing print and digital communication materials
· Effective project management and communication skills
· Accuracy and sharp eye for detail
· Fluent in English and local language
