Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Wordpress Developer to join our team!
The ideal candidate will be proficient in delivering complex Wordpress sites integrating into back-end APIs and 3rd party services. The role will involve your preference of IDE and Atlassian products such as JIRA, Confluence & BitBucket Server.
Responsibilities:
Taking direction from the lead developer to implement new features and functionality in Wordpress
Work closely with UX and UI teams to ensure that front-end tasks you complete match the designs.
Working with the Project Managers to estimate user stories thereby ensuring development sprints are achievable
Working with the Quality Assurance team to deliver development tasks to a high quality
Qualifications
Skills - Mandatory
3+ years experience building Wordpress websites and/or web applications
2+ years experience developing using HTML/CSS to build new components/templates
2+ years experience developing in PHP to customise backend functionality for Wordpress sites
2+ years experience using GIT with good understanding of branching and merging strategies
Good verbal and written communication in English
Experience build components/templates based on Figma designs (or similar design packages)
Experience creating WordPress themes and custom plugins.
Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3/SCSSS, JavaScript, jQuery
Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
Strong testing and debugging skills from server to front end
Experience working in an Agile delivery processes
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as communication skills
Strong time management skills
Our teams are currently working from home however, this role will be based in our Makati head offices once circumstances allow. In order to be considered for this opportunity you must be able to demonstrate your home working environment is as follows:
conducive home office (free from noise and distraction)
main internet: wired internet of at least 5mbps
reliable back up internet: at least 3mbps speed
