The React Developer is responsible for the technical development and maintenance of React projects. This ranges from giving technical advice and problem solving in the conceptual stages of a project, through to the building of assets, code, documentation and support. Duties and responsibilities Creating and building technical assets / code for projects Working with team to solve technical or design problems as they arise, assisting others as required Keeping other team members and project manager up to date with progress, as well as any new issues or constraints Liaising with project & product teams to understand their requirements, and qualify these Assist with the development time estimates and project plans Working with visual design and front end team to define project constraints, problem solving Developing the technical assets for interactive projects Attending client and project team meetings, clarifying technical issues as required Correspondence with project managers and sometimes clients Qualifying project requirements, making sure that impact and issues are clear Minimum qualifications 4 to 5 years of experience in front end development Frontend frameworks & state management (React / Redux) JavaScript ES6+, DOM Testing frameworks (e.g. Jest, Enzyme) Working with RESTful APIs and HTTP requests. HTML & CSS Github, JIRA, CircleCI Ruby on Rails (preferred) Working knowledge of RDMS (e.g. Postgres, MySQL) (preferred)
