We are looking for a proficient and diligent qualified Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to support a UK-based Head of Group Financial Planning and Analysis.

Our core business is distribution in emerging markets, whereby we are exclusively responsible for an auto manufacturer's sales and brand from the factory gate to the end sale in a specific country. This includes logistics, advertising & marketing, customer experience and retail.
Inchcape's Asia business represents a large portion of the Group's overall operations and includes scale operations in eight markets (Singapore, Hong Kong, Brunei, Thailand, China, Guam, Saipan and Macau). In many of these markets we are the leader.

Duties and responsibilities
Presentation production:
Create presentation decks for multiple business units during the bi-monthly and budget financial cycles. Quality report creation in powerpoint from data gathered in Excel and BPC data bases.
Reporting:
Work with London team to:
Follow up on reporting and assessment of data quality checks
Testing of BPC input/ output templates
Report generation from BPC sources to internal departmental managers
Production of excel based reporting and supporting commentary
Support junior role in their production of: variance reporting, scorecards, summary dashboards, data quality and completeness reporting
Quality control, validation and follow-up.
Ensure control documentation for FP&A team is complete and properly documented
Highlight and assist resolution of issues with: data quality/completeness checks, daily reconciliation of data accuracy and movements, follow-up with Inchcape's business units on late/missing submissions
Minimum competencies
Minimum 8+ years' experience in a related role.
Excellent power point knowledge - using financial systems as a source
Experience of relational databases such as Hyperion, Essbase, Business Warehouse or SAP/ BPC (direct SAP/ BPC relevance is preferred).
Strong data analytical skills.
Advanced excel user: extensive formulae knowledge (Macros/ VBA skills an advantage but not required).
Fluent in spoke and written English. Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
Experience working with colleagues at all levels in different cultures across all countries, gaining colleague engagement, support and buy-in.
Commercial and analytical mindset.
