Purpose of the Job
The overall purpose of the Financial Controller job is to secure compliant and optimized: Performance reporting for Performance Units (based on Grundfos GAAP) and statutory / tax statements for Grundfos Entities (based on local GAAP). This role will be based in our office in Makati City.

Responsibilities:
Driving optimization and cost-effectiveness related to standardized, automated, and simplified global finance processes (to make it easier to work for Grundfos)
Driving compliance excellence within Finance Controlling and operational excellence for non-streamline companies
Ensuring accurate and timely reporting processes based on the above accounting principles across performance units and legal entities
One point of contact for Finance Business Partner organization related to all finance controlling and accounting matters
Skills and Experience Required:
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Accounting or any relevant courses or an equivalent work experience
Work relevant experience includes audit/accounting/taxation and has in-depth knowledge of international and/or local accounting and taxation legislation
6-8 years proven relevant experience
Deep understanding of the accounting principles. Understand how accounting principles affect financial reporting.
Understand local/international accounting standards and integrate them into the internal controls and compliance processes
Ability to understand local/international corporate legal requirements and integrate them into the financial reporting where relevant.
Ability to organize, coordinate and facilitate external audits
Understand the policies and conduct finance controlling per these policies.
Ability to organize, coordinate, and facilitate monthly reporting in close collaboration with other Finance functions.
Understand the policies and conduct finance controlling per these policies.
Ability to use the following systems and understand the underlying data structures and flows at a sufficient level to fulfill the Job Role. Systems and applications such as SAP, BW/Analytic, TM1/Cognos, IBP, IPMA/PMA, and MS Excel
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is an advantage
Ability to communicate in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
