There is an exciting, home-based opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst and a pioneer to help build the finance team in the Philippines at Support.com as the business expects to expand globally. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and bring business acumen, financial expertise and insights to aid decision-making and deliver value to our stakeholders. The senior financial analyst will help support forecasting, reporting and analytics, and will also work with the accounting team to provide support for month-end close, and operations to help produce real time metrics essential in running the business.
The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Senior Director of Finance, based in the USA, and must work US day hours.
Responsibilities Include:
Supports the development, preparation and distribution of the annual budget and monthly/quarterly forecasts
Responsible for the weekly and monthly reporting processes including revenue, expense and cash
Assist business owners with ad hoc modeling and analysis
Update and track key operating indicators
Build and maintain effective business partnerships within the organization
Respond to spending inquiries from budget owners
Analyze data from transactional databases
Participate in the development of presentations to inform the Senior Management and the Board of Directors of the company's financial performance
Responsible for the development and administration of the corporate planning tool and the development of insightful dashboards
Develop and determine meaningful reporting as the company enters new countries to optimize information flow to run the business,
Opportunity to build and manage a team of analysts in the Philippines in relation to company requirements and growth, and in charge of reporting all countries
Qualifications:
B.S. in finance, accounting or equivalent (MBA a plus)
Technology industry experience preferred
3-5 years FP&A experience
Strong Excel experience required (pivots, look-ups, etc.) to develop sophisticated business models
Experience financial systems and understanding of database structure and reporting strongly desired
Strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with business and financial acumen
Experience with GAAP accounting
Experience in a US public company preferred
Organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be an excellent team player capable of earning the confidence of other groups
Must have access to a quiet, home work environment and have a reliable internet connection
The working hours for this role will be night shift, working United States Pacific Time.
