Role Description:
The Senior Financial Analyst is a key contributor to the FM&B team and is responsible for performing analysis of financial results/financial information, KPIs, variances and trends of the Group and of subsidiaries, monitoring of group initiatives, ad hoc analysis, and adding value to the process.
He/She has a critical role in the Group's annual budgeting process, including contributing to the continuous improvement of the budget process, review of subsidiaries' budgets, budget consolidation and analysis, through collaboration with subsidiaries globally and with other Corporate functions.
I. Essential Functions:
Performs analysis of financial results/ financial information, KPIs, variances and trend of the Group and of subsidiaries
Monitoring of budget and group initiatives, makes recommendations and adds value to the process
Critical role in the Group's budget and 5Y plan exercise, including contributing to the continuous improvement of the process, review of subsidiaries' budgets, budget consolidation and analysis, and re-forecast activities
Prepares analysis needed for investor relations, as well as supports other Corporate functions
Manages ad hoc initiatives/ projects
Contributes to process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools
Performs other duties and tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
II. Job Requirements and Competencies
a. Skills and Abilities:
Strong quantitative and analytical competency
Strong oral and written communication skills
Positive working attitude and a team player
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
Ability to create financial models is a plus experience with cyber security related technologies
b. Knowledge and Experience:
3-5 years in an audit firm working on a financial audit
Knowledge on IRS and financial statements
Experience with SAP / SAP BPC/ other ERP system is a plus
c. Professional Qualification and Training:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance courses
Certified Public Accountant is required
CFA candidate, Level 1 passer or higher, is a plus
d. Working Conditions:
Works in an office environment
Monday to Friday
Generally 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
