Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategically minded Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team.
The Senior Financial Analyst is a newly created role to head up our management accounts team. Responsibilities include assisting with financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, developing financial models, preparing projections and performing research and analysis as may be required by leadership. The Senior Financial Analyst will own Elite Haven's Group monthly rolling forecast process, consolidation reporting and play a key role in providing high quality decision analysis to support investments and initiatives. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide project teams with financial guidance and assisting with monthly close processes and may serve as a business partner to one or more departments. You will also participate in or lead projects related to the decision analysis and process improvements.
Key responsibilities:
Gather and consolidate financial data
Prepare variance and cost analysis report
Analyze finances and determine risks and create forecasts
Assist in budget preparation
Manage and ensure accurate and timely submission of financial statements and external reports
Oversee external audits and do a random internal audit
Advise management on how to craft effective business plans and resolve cost-related issues
Identify, initiate, and execute opportunities for continuous process improvement
Prepare the accounting and finance process manual
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Must be a Certified Public Accountant and or with advanced studies in Business
Proven experience as a Corporate Accountant and Financial Analyst
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and practices
With comprehensive knowledge in tax, compliance, consolidation, and reporting
At least 8 years of related working experience in a similar field
Knowledge of computerized accounting and records keeping system, preferably Xero, Q3F, and SAP
In-depth experience in risk analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
An analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
Excellent communication skills
Keen eye for detail
Organization and leadership skills
Preferably from the big four auditing firms. (KPMG, PWC, Deloitte, and EY)
This role shall be based on-site in our Makati City office.
