The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of complete and accurate monthly reports that are included as part of the business unit operations review as well as selected management reports on a quarterly basis. In addition, the position will be responsible for running select Performance to Plan reports for the distribution force and for updating monthly expense trend analysis reports used in the monthly close process and our meeting with BU management.

We are looking for someone with:
Bachelor's degree concentrating in Accounting or Finance; CPA is an advantage
Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance experience
Proven problem solving and business/financial analysis skills, creative and resourceful in identifying issues and developing solutions
Able to effectively articulate issues and trends to management
Strong presentation and written communication skills
Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision or in a team environment
Strong computer skills and an expert proficiency using MS Excel, experience with MS Access a plus based financial reporting and analysis templates
Familiarity with Mainframe computer processing
All employees must be willing to undergo a background check and have fingerprints maintain on file in compliance with regulatory standards

Monthly Performance to Plan and Expense Reports: Prepare Monthly Cost Center Research and Proposed Reclass Entries for Mutual Fund Wholesaler Cost Centers.
Update Monthly Cost Center Summary Reports for the Wholesalers.
Update New Monthly Distribution Related General Expense Templates.
Summarize and maintain the Monthly Broker Support Payments Schedule used For Monthly Broker Support Accruals.
Maintaining Daily CDSC Income logbook and spreadsheet on a Calendar Day Basis.
Run Monthly General Expense Account Web Focus Queries on General Expense Accounts showing significant variances for monthly close.
Copy and update Monthly Income Statement and General Expense templates for the Monthly Close Meetings.
Input and upload Marketing Support Bills on APS System for Approval
QUARTERLY: Prepares money market sweep report and monthly reporting
Process College Savings First Day sales, part asset and sales report, net sales report, commission volume rate report, sales slides in operations deck, acquisition by channel report, 529 package
Prepares monthly NASD sales cap analysis, monthly seed capital report, monthly cash foreast, sales based compensation dashboards
