The Senior Financial Accountant is responsible for preparing and reviewing finances including general ledger, cash flow, balance sheet and tax compliance as well as banking administration and many aspects of the day to day Finance operations supporting RPO.
Key Responsibilities:
Take responsibility for end of month processes across multiple Asian countries; includes responding to queries relating to the accounts and guidance on how rhipe processes work and what needs to be done and when.
Contribute to the review, consolidation and analysis of the General Ledger for reporting purposes and ensure accuracy; provide reports and analysis on P&L, Budget Analysis, variance reporting, Expenses Forecasts, Cash Balance and other reporting.
Help to organise cash flow and ensure allocation & regional movement of funds appropriately; work with AR to ensure adequate funds received and with AP to assist payment approvals and ensure vendor payments are made on time to receive rebates.
Administer Company banking, including paperwork, setting up new users, passwords and access in the system.
Responsible for statutory reporting; lodge reports to relevant local tax authorities across all regions and ensure payments are made and requirements met
Review and prepare balance sheet reconciliation for Asian entities and prepare audit files for review by Auditors
Contribute to ad hoc Finance Projects as required such as working with external consultants to implement a new systems and processes
Review and approve invoices for payment, monthly payroll and statutory payments in relation to payroll; work with HR and payroll provider on year end employee data submission for tax reporting
Assist FP&A Group Manager with analysis and ad hoc projects
Support the GM Finance and finance team with other accounts work as required
Ensure all policies and standards, as they are introduced, are adhered to at all times
Experience and Skills:
Mandatory - 5 to 8 years' experience in a similar role; Preferred - Experience in a fast-growing, small to medium business. Experience in with dealing with tax offices across APAC
Education:
Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
Professional Training and Certification:
Formal Accounting CA or CPA qualifications
Technical Skills:
Advanced analytical skills
Microsoft Navision experience preferred
