-Participate in regular budget and growth strategy meetings to determine which tasks are prioritized on a daily basis.
-Manages the import/export process, and ensures compliance with government laws and regulations.
-Expedites the flow of traffic to/from foreign destinations, including customs documentation and transportation.
-Oversees the paperwork and monetary transactions associated with international distribution in a timely manner.
-Actively engage in the tendering and sales side of the business, from involvement in modeling and pricing of tenders to the completion of GOP analysis.
-Issue import and export LC and accepts payments: Notifies exporters and importers of issuance of letters of credit covering the shipment of merchandise.
-Coordinate LC content with the CEO or/and CFO and follow the employer's requirements.
-Negotiate LC content as well as possible amendments with the customer or beneficiary.
-Will be responsible for developing inventory tracking systems to optimize control procedures, reviewing levels of supplies, ordering new materials, and performing a periodical analysis.
-Will be responsible for the organization's logistics requirement management including but not limited to selecting appropriate vendors with the ability to provide transportation facilities; choosing the most effective routes for transportation; discovering the most competitive delivery method and ensuring the safety of the merchandise.
-Developing and implementing purchasing strategies.
-Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, and timelines while ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
-Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
-Review LC documents to determine compliance with international standards including the verification of the terms of credit, such as amount, insurance coverage, and shipping conditions to determine compliance with established standards.
-Coordinate customer credit information and collateral papers with Loan Officers to comply with bank credit standards.
-Ensures Error & Omission Insurance coverage for employees traveling abroad.
-Provide administrative support to the procurement & inventory functions.
-Other lawful and reasonable tasks that may be assigned to.
