Job Description
Job Purpose:
Responsible in preparing financial statements and collecting and analyzing financial data and ensuring that all reporting is compliant with SEC and GAAP reporting regulations and guidelines.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for day to day oversight of assigned staff.
Promote a positive and collaborative team environment to ensure consistent, highquality standards are met.
Conduct performance reviews, regular meetings, and 1-1 check ins with direct reports.
Provide supervision, guidance, and support to team members, making decisions according to established procedures, policies, and key metrics.
Support the recruitment and onboarding process, training initiatives, and mentor staff.
Prepare the financial reporting package for company (HKG).
Review/Variance commentaries for HKG, SG, PH and LLC.
Prepare the Control PL report/deck
Perform accounting activities for all entities.
Prepare and process Intercompany Billings.
Support External Auditors.
Prepare and process monthly account reconciliations for company in HKG and PH.
Act as back-up for billings and revenue reporting.
Support the Department Head/Manager in terms of month-end reports, ad-hoc reports/data requests.
Oversee AP invoicing activities.
In charge of resolving invoice discrepancies.
Analyze accounts and prepare reports (regular & ad-hoc).
Filing of vendor and keeping track of tax related documents (i.e. -1099, IRS, FTB, Property tax).
Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
Address payments and vendor related issues.
Perform accounting activities within the corporate treasury functions such as wire transfers, cash position, journal entries for bank transactions, etc.
Perform all accounting activities including accounts payable and receivable for multiple corporate entities.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Supports PH payroll.
Any other tasks as assigned from time to time.
Adhere to all company and customer policies, procedures, quality, safety, and security requirements, and reporting policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or equivalent education and experience
At least 5 years of progressive, relevant accounting experience
Strong attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills.
Strong computer skills, including productivity applications (Excel) and financial accounting software. Microsoft Dynamics A/X and Netsuite knowledge strongly preferred.
Experience in managing accounting and reporting requirements
Excellent communication skills in English. Must be able to communicate financial and accounting information to non-accounting professionals.
Track record of successfully working in a team environment (remote or onsite).
Ability to effectively manage one's own time with limited supervision and prioritize daily activities with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
