Senior Finance Accountant
Duties and Responsibilities:
SAP Expertise - support accountants and AP/AR with SAP knowledge
Ownership of preparation of Quarter end US submission schedules
APAC Cash and Bank: Assisting with cash flow
APAC Intercompany - Prepare fund transfers, intercompany settlements, ensure IC's are reconciled in SAP, clear IC balances in SAP, ensuring all paperwork is filed
APAC Revenue Cut Off - Hardware cut off testing and accurate accounting for revenue
Month end responsibilities various other month end / quarter end activities to ensure timely and accurate closure of month end/quarter end in accordance with various USGAAP /SOX requirements
Ownership for APAC MS Chip report and Azure consumption. Maintenance of commissionable vs non-commissionable matrix and ensuring accurate and timely accounting and analysis
Responsible for NZ P&L and Balance sheet - Stat /tax/FBT
Responsible for Au FBT return
Preparing consolidated schedules for US reporting
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Backup for Singapore and Hongkong entities
Take on additional work as may be required
Qualifications:
Minimum Accounting degree, CPA/CA equivalent qualification.
Minimum 5 - 6 years' experience in an SAP environment
Hyperion/Essbase knowledge and experience -essential - 3-5 years
SAP Experience necessary
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Financial Accounting role within a commercial firm with relevant accounting experience per main duties and responsibilities above
Experienced working in a multinational environment and handled multiple entities
Proficient knowledge of Excel
SAP accounting system knowledge
Hyperion/Essbase essential
Planning and organizing skills
Strong communication skills (verbal/written)
Attention to detail and accuracy
Problem solving and analytical skills
Can do attitude
