Duties and responsibilities Responsible for the budget, daily maintenance and ensuring appearance of the KMC & APEX Facilities are ready to support operations Ensure critical equipment is adequately maintained for a safe and secure environment for the employees Maintain all company equipment and furniture. Carry out test runs of standby generators and ensure all data is documented and auditable Interface with the Landlord Property Management Group to address any facility management issues. Addressing all air conditioning and electrical problems with the building Ensures fast, accurate and reliable processing of Facilities work requests (especially building dry walls between offices) Responsible for managing all received, stored and issued materials and supplies related to Facilities Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards Develops Policies and Procedures to govern and control the Facilities Department and personnel Maintain fire evacuation and disaster response plan for the KMC & APEX Facilities. Coordinate training programs for employees when necessary Inspect buildings' structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs Head the facilities department and coordinate with admin, project management and other departments for seamless service delivery to clients. Evaluates all facilities related contracts, leases and bids and submits recommendations for approval. Maintain adequate records for contract renewals Perform analysis and forecasting Performs duties commonly associated with Facilities Management including adhoc duties that may be assigned from time to time Review utilization and strengthen team's capabilities in doing minor renovation works such as wall murals, wall installations, ang the likes in the most cost and time efficient manner Participate and may lead internal projects related to improving, automating, and innovating process and services of the organization related to Facilities Management Minimum competencies Strategic Leadership Skills Business Acumen Budget Management Vendor Negotiation Project Management Minimum qualifications Bachelor's / College Degree, Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical) or equivalent With 5 years minimum experience in Facilities Management. Experienced Manager specializing in Maintenance, Repairs (Facilities & Equipment) or equivalent Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Application Experience in fast-pace working environment and have handled multiple sites
