Job Description
Reporting directly to the Manager of EHS in the headquarters (Columbia, Maryland, US), the EHS/Sustainability Analyst will be responsible for assisting in oversight of Environment, Health, and Safety compliance within the Asia Pacific region including but not limited to facilities based in Mayalasia, Republic of the Philippines (Philippines), and Republic of Korea (South Korea). Key roles will include the preparation and review of different EHS/Sustainability reports required for government and corporate reporting, oversight and management of data collection activities and reporting activities. They will be providing any support required by the Global EHS Function. They will work closely with various stakeholders to carry out their mandate.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic advisor to business units and operations in the development and execution of targets, strategies, and programs to meet corporate sustainability objectives.
Coordinate and lead interdepartmental teams in the implementation of new sustainability programs, initiatives, and communications.
Develop tools and resources for data and performance management, climate risk mitigation, scenario analysis, quality, and reporting.
Oversee sustainability communications through external reporting frameworks including CDP, GRI, SASB, ecovadis, ISS, JustCapital etc.
Oversees maintenance, implementation, quality assurance and development of Global Management Systems.
Research, analyze, and report industry and regulatory trends and data to support the development of strategy, policies, and programs.
Responsible for data integrity and oversight of the Greenhouse Gas Inventory and associated management plans.
Provide meaningful guidance to Corporate EHSS and the Sr. VP Communications and EHSS
Job Specifications
Demonstrated understanding of Sustainability Reporting and Data Management
Demonstrated proficiency in EHS management systems and related software
Demonstrated understanding of Environment, Social, and Governance Topics
Proficient in MS Office Suite applications and SAP
7-10 years working experience in Environmental, Health and Safety, or Sustainability
Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering or any EHS related discipline.
