We are looking for someone to join the Technical Team as a Senior Developer (Android)
This role is about developing market-leading applications, contributing to the achievements of an agile delivery team and sharing in the values of a strong engineering culture
As a senior developer with Android development skills, you will be tasked with the following:
Deliver high-quality software that implements industry best practices and a clean architecture
Create pixel-perfect user interfaces according to design specifications
Understand customer requirements and collaboratively develop solutions within multidisciplinary Agile teams
Solve technical problems throughout the project lifecycle
Work autonomously, while also assisting the rest of the team
Developing mobile applications using Kotlin technologies
Working with clients through the full SDLC
Working closely with internal QA
Participation and contribution to stand-ups and other sessions
Most importantly, your work will matter, and be recognised and rewarded
You are someone who has experience with:
Kotlin
Native Android development frameworks (including Android Jetpack LiveData and ViewModel)
OOP, design patterns, clean architecture, and industry best practices
CI/CD, especially Azure DevOps, AppCenter, and the Google ecosystem
Automated testing, including unit tests, TDD, UI tests
Mobile data caching and syncing
Integration with back-end databases and transactional systems
Experience with MVP, MVVM patterns and Clean Architecture
Strong experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON
Experience working with internal APIs, and third-party APIs and libraries such as Retrofit, Dagger, Firebase etc.
Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Experience working with source code management using Git, Github, Bitbucket, DevOps
Your profile:
