What you'll be doing: Data Administration Executes other tasks and duties relating to data administration such as updating and refreshing of data sets. Processes data based on the analytical requirements of the teams we are supporting. Following the agreed schedules and specifications of the reports. Builds and maintains a central database for all the reporting needs. Troubleshoots tracking issues and identifies discrepancies in data collection. Learning and Development Educates junior team members by documenting internal processes in report development and data administration. Develops and creates reporting materials to aid users in automating work. Develops and designs reporting templates utilizing our different tools such as MS Excel, Power BI, and other tools. Report Development Develops new reports, be it on Excel, SQL or Power BI, involving the different data sets such as BR and other internal sources utilized within the company. Develops new reports, be it on Excel or Power BI, with the use of data sets structured by the team. Thoroughly reviews developed reports before being passed on to team members for audit. Report should be consistent and accurate when compared to previous report versions. Documents and updates (as necessary) all the user and technical guides of the reports developed. Utilizes Excel, Power BI or SQL in developing reports. Meets set deadlines for report development and revisions. Business Intelligence Tools Ensures accuracy of the data and reports maintained by the team. Learns and understands the different internal and external tracking tools utilized by the Data Insights team, such as (but not limited to) SSRS and other relevant platforms. Learns and understands the different tracking tools used in our reports. Monitors changes and updates in the different BI tools the team utilizes. Data Analysis and Audit Supports other functions with their data analytics needs. Provides relevant insights relating to the TV performance. Reviews thoroughly the reports before being passed on for publication to the end users. Provides detailed findings on reports being audited. Project Lead Manages incoming requests and consults with the supervisor and/or manager for project assignment. Coordinates with agencies or vendors. Represents the Data Analytics team in cross-functional projects. Other Duties and Responsibilities Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time. What you bring to the table: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics, or Computer Programming Preferably from the country's reputable universities Experience: Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years relevant experience in performing the various functional units of the Data Analytics team covering the areas of Data Administration, Learning and Development, Report Development, Business Intelligence Tools, Data Analysis and Audit and Project Lead. Must be adept in MS SQL or Power BI, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Power Query and Business Intelligence tools, with specific experience in MS SQL. Location: Our corporate offices are based in Northern California with a Regional Operating Headquarters (ROHQ) in the Philippines. Company executives visit the Philippines regularly, so team members attend in-person meetings from time to time. The Senior Data Analytics Analyst position is a long-term remote working position for Balsam International Unlimited Company Philippine ROHQ in Manila. Team members in the Philippines are located within Metro Manila, Cavite, Rizal, Bulacan or certain parts of Laguna only (Bi an, Cabuyao, Calamba, Los Ba os, San Pedro, and Santa Rosa). Our must-haves: Must live within Metro Manila, Cavite, Rizal, Bulacan or certain parts of Laguna only (Bi an, Cabuyao, Calamba, Los Ba os, San Pedro, and Santa Rosa). Must be willing to attend occasional in-person meetings depending on the status of the pandemic. For 2022, all in-person gatherings in Balsam are suspended until further notice.
