JOB DESCRIPTION
The person in this position manages the legal assistant(s) and liaison officers.
 
Main purpose of the job:
To assist the Legal Officer/Manager in effectively managing multiple client engagements by providing sound legal service and opinion.
 
Primary Responsibilities (list in order of importance)
1. Finalize drafts of legal documents
2. Provide legal advice and inform senior management of any legal risks
3. Prepare and review legal documents
4. Assist the legal manager in all legal-related engagements
5. Assist in ensuring that the company and/or its clients fully comply with the existing rules and regulations in the Philippines
6. Represent the company and/or its clients to government agencies
7. Research and provide advice pertaining to legal inquiries of the company and/or its clients
8. Assist the legal manager in monitoring the progress of legal engagements
9. Assist in improvements and expansion of the legal team and the company
Related Work Experience
• 3 to 5 years of related experience
• Highly familiar with standards and procedures of the SEC, BIR, DOLE, and the PEZA
• Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
Formal Education or Equivalent?
• Graduate of BS Political Science, Legal Management, Public Administration, or any equivalent
Skills
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Detail-oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
• Able to manage multiple client engagements
• Has a high degree of personal integrity and adherence to ethical standards
