A Day in the Life
Sr Advanced Analytics Analyst
Our Sr Advanced Analytics Analyst provides the means to enable all Philippine commercial teams to implement data-driven decision-making and resource allocation through co-creation of:
robust, scalable data systems;
acquisition and integration of Philippine data sources; and
intuitive user interfaces that reflect Philippine reporting needs
You will be the liaison with the Emerging Markets Business Intelligence and Data team and will enable key initiatives identified by the Philippine and Emerging Markets Commercial Excellence team, ensure cross-business solution development, to meet the objective of "Playing Big" and leveraging Medtronic's scale as a competitive advantage.
You will align resources to drive efficient data and BI solutions at scale for all commercial operations, therefore avoiding proliferation of disjointed initiatives, systems, and processes.
Key responsibilities
Provides business partnership between all commercial teams and the Business Intelligence and Data team
Drive Philippine design input to create reliable, easy-to--use systems for sales reporting, market analytics, and inventory health analysis
Standardize and simplify sales reporting, delivering consistent high-quality user experience
Develop a central repository of data, insights, tools, and expertise to enable businesses to make data driven decisions
Train commercial stakeholders on how to use BI tools, reports, and insights and how to leverage in meaningful review processes
Provide market competition analysis, e.g. NPI / GTM etc.
Support full usage of Salesforce.com across all operating units and functions
Provides clear training, guidance, governance, and data stewardship to ensure data quality and integrity to drive consistency
Develops proactively proposals for changes/improvements to reporting systems and processes including business case development and stakeholder management
Communicates insights to key stakeholders
Monitor and track system and process utilization and adoption and perform post-implementation reviews to ensure that systems deliver on business objectives
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Nice to Have
Bachelor degree, preferably in relevant tertiary degree (Business, IT, science)
2-5 years' experience in business analytics, data management or related field
Experience with SAP, SFDC will be viewed favorably
Advanced level of knowledge of MS Office suite software including Project, Excel, PowerPoint
