Australian firm searching for a Senior Bookkeeper to move to Australia.
We will pay visa costs (estimate AUD$20,000) to assist with move.
Must have very strong bookkeeping skills.
An opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. Reporting directly to the Partner of the business, you will have responsibility of the bookkeeping department. Your role will involve completing all aspect of bookkeeping including:
Data entry
Bank reconciliations
Processing payroll (including strong knowledge of single touch payroll)
Processing superannuation
Reconciliation of superannuation accounts
Reconciliation of accounts payable and accounts receivable
GST reconciliation
Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS).
Strong software knowledge of Xero and MYOB accounting packages is essential.
As our business builds its bookkeeping team, you will be responsible for managing the bookkeeping team. Team members may be in both Australia and Manila.

Our business is location in Townsville, Queensland, Australia and employs over 65 staff members. This opportunity exists for the right candidate wanting to move to Australia, and a market based Australian salary will be offered.
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree (ideally in business/accounting/finance)
Member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (this is required as part of Visa process)
