What you'll do:
As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will directly report to the Finance Manager.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Accurate and timely processing of receipts and invoices via DEXT.
Managing the day-to-day accounting transactions in accounting software including managing bank rules.
Reconciling bank accounts.
Record journal entries as required.
Reconcile super and prepare reports for monthly lodgements.
Preparing the end-of-month accounts including review of the general ledger, Profit & Loss and reconciliation of balance sheet to supporting documents.
Preparation of ad hoc reports for the purpose of analysis as required by individual clients.
Create and Maintain Asset registers
Liaising with clients as required to request documents and further information
Reconciliation, preparation, and lodgement of monthly or quarterly business activity statements (BAS).
Managing the accounts payable function.
Managing the accounts receivable function including the allocation of payments.
Credit control of overdue payments.
Uploading Budgets to client XERO files accurately.
Administrative tasks associated with the onboarding of new clients.
General administrative tasks such as;
Compiling KPI data for the team
Preparation of new client proposals in Ignition
Assisting the manager with Karbon workflows
Administrative support to the manager as required
Maintain filing structure in cloud-based files.
Work as part of a collaborative team.
Successful candidates must have:
Substantial practical experience in bookkeeping function within an Australian business setting.
Certificate III/IV in Accounting or degree qualifications in Accounting
Proven experience with GST and the preparation of BAS and IAS.
High-level experience and certification in XERO.
Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to demonstrate problem-solving.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Proven organisational skills.
High degree of initiative and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal) and customer service.
Driven by a genuine customer service ethos.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Commitment to best practices in all duties associated with the position.
Willing to work on-site in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
