Project Role:
Work alongside architecture & design teams to define and implement the project workflow based on business requirements and support high-level architecture
Build tools to help Bell enforce network security
Champion security and foster best practices in DevSecOps context
Participate and improve the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) cycle and processes
Contribute to resolving incident reports related to development and operational challenges
Help build framework for best practices regarding code writing, reviews, and deployment
Qualifications
Minimum Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience in Python backend development
Deep knowledge of programming, OO Design Patterns and Software Architecture (e.g. Microservices)
Familiarity with Python web frameworks such as Flask, Django, Django Rest Framework
You will thrive in this role if you have:
Expertise Test Driven Development and Agile Development
Expertise in CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab Runners and/or Jenkins
Expertise in SQL and Non-SQL databases
Expertise Kubernetes-based workflows (Gitlab/Docker/OpenShift)
Familiarity with Linux operating systems (RHEL/CentOS)
Experience designing in RESTful architectural style, including JSON format
Knowledge/experience in security principles and tools (SCM, SAST, SCA, etc.)
Knowledge/experience in: Neo4J, Express.js, Go, Node.js, PySpark/Cloudera, Data Science/Machine Learning, Caching (Redis)
Code quality and security (SonarQube, Checkmarx, JFrog Xray)
