Develop well thought out scalable API's for a robust on-demand mobile platform.
Architect, research and problem solve in areas involving AI, machine learning, complex business rules, and route optimization.
Work as a development polyglot in whatever language is required to get the job done including Java, Groovy, Javascript, and anything else that is invented tomorrow.
Find and implement fast and efficient code solutions on both client and server side code.
Come up with code solutions to online education, applicant tracking systems, payment systems, messaging and communication systems including SMS, IVR, Viber, Messenger and others.
Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic.
Work with multiple databases and storage platforms incluing MongoDB and MySQL as well as object relational approaches such as GORM.
Develop distributed computing solutoins both client and server side implementing approaches such as hadoop, and mapreduce.
We are looking for rock star developers or super smart developers that have rock star potential to work with a team of veteran ace developers who have built one of the best on-demand platforms in the world.
Our current stack uses Angular.JS, Grails, Java, MongoDB, and MySQL (amongst many other things) but equivalent experience in Ruby, React, Play and several other platforms is applicable. What is not applicable is DOT.NET and Visual Basic -> If this is you we don't have time to train you. Hopefully you either have experience working at a development company that knows what they are doing and works on cutting edge projects, or you are smart enough to have worked on your own.
You should know what stackoverflow and github are, and be comfortable researching difficult problems and presenting solid solutions.
Qualifications should include 2+ years commercial experience developing web and server applications, with extensive experience with in building scalable database backed REST API's.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator (in English), a perfectionist, and a problem solver who takes pride in his work. We want somebody who is smart, takes initiative, gets things done according to the plan and has a strong ability to multitask.
Educational Requirement:
Need to be a graduate of any reputable school and university.
Plus Skills:
It's a plus if the candidate has background knowledge in Systems Administration experience, HTML5 + CSS3, Responsive design/Bootstrap, Javascript/jQuery, CSS Preprocessors (e.g LESS/SASS) and automation (e.g. Grunt, Gulp).
