About the Senior Auditor Role:
In this business critical role, you will assist the Chief Audit Executive in reviewing and maintaining the efficiency of the organisation's internal controls and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Be assigned to a specific audit department within the bank: branch, head office, operations, credit, IT and quality assurance
Mentor junior auditors and act as the subject matter expert of the team
Lead the implementation of the audit plan of the bank including the investigation special audits
To succeed in this Senior Auditor job, you must have at least 10 years' related work experience and knowledge in internal audit obtained from a local bank.
Key Requirements:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
Ability to do thorough audit processes in different areas of the bank
Led audit engagements and successfully helped on internal control improvements
Experience in end-to-end risk-based audit process, data science and business analytics
Experience in external audit from a Big 4 accounting firm, most preferred
Handled fraud investigations in the banking industry
